Dancing Island beach before the canoe trip.  On June 29 David left the island with Dewayne and Kinley to return them to the landing and to pick up Duke Niebur, Dewayne's uncle.  It was a nice day and they returned to the island by 11 AM.  After Duke got settled, we fished for Walleye at the Honey Hole.  The next five days were spent doing work around the cabin, staining, gutter repair, collecting birch bark and preparing for our canoe trip to Reindeer Lake.  On July 5, after a night of on and off rain, we departed the island at 9 AM on our canoe trip.
